The Turnkey Solution includes all the services that are available from Cedar Winds Country Homes. These services are grouped into two distinct stages of the process. These stages are known as the "Pre-Construction" or "Planning" stage, and the "Construction" or "Building" stage.

The Planning stage begins with the following;

1. A site visit - conducting a property analysis will ensure effective building positioning. Also, physical attributes of your property can be part of the design, not destroyed by it.
2. Personal Meetings - in order to discuss and to learn more about what you imagine. Discussions include lifestyle, seasonality, and of course, budget. The benefits are a personalized design and focused course of action.
3. Conceptual Drawings - Floor Plans and Exterior sketches are created and presented to you. These drawing are changed as needed to meet your specifications. The results are greater awareness and understanding.
4. Blueprints - Blueprints are prepared and distributed to qualified tradesmen and Building departments for pricing and permits. Accurate pricing and scheduling are the outcome at this point.
5. Trade Selection - Tradesmen are then chosen to conduct the work required. The criterion is selecting the people best suited to do the job. Higher quality and better value are realized.

These five steps make up the Planning stage. Once the site visit and meetings have been held, the information is reviewed and Conceptual Floor Plans and Exterior sketches are prepared based on your visions. These Drawings are reviewed and altered as necessary to truly capture the cottage of your Dreams.

Construction Drawings or "Blueprints" are then prepared. They are required to obtain Building Permits. They are also distributed to your contractors for pricing. Your team of trades people will be hand picked for their outstanding workmanship and premium quality. All of the materials and mechanical systems you will need are investigated and sourced from the people that know them best.

A schedule and budget can now be compiled and the "Building" stage can begin.

A few of the many duties included in the "Building Phase" are;

1. Contractor Meetings - Meetings are held with all required contractors as required to review project progression. The benefit is a greater team spirit and approach.
2. Weekly Reviews - Work progress is evaluated regularly. This is done to provide a smoother interface between trades, avoid scheduling problems, and encourage strong teamwork.
3. On Site Supervision - Daily site inspections are done resulting in higher quality standards.
