These plans will be presented to you, discussed and changed as required to ultimately meet your expectations and approval. All these steps are taken to ensure your vision is realized. Also, in order to prevent costly changes during the construction phase.

New products and processes are being developed every day, and Glenn will help you to understand and use these to your benefit. Innovations in foundations, thermal systems, exterior cladding and roofing materials as well as windows and doors can all impact the overall building performance and construction costs. These are all options that are open to you. Informed decisions make the difference.

The mechanical support systems are also a vital part of the design process. Different systems need different types of infrastructure. Heating and cooling, plumbing and electrical systems are all discussed and planned for.

A full set of construction drawings is then prepared. These drawings include a site plan, elevations, foundation plan and details, floor joist layouts and details, floor plans, roof framing layouts, cross sections and electrical layouts.

All of these drawings are necessary to acquire building permits, as well as to obtain accurate pricing from qualified contractors.
